November 2021 - An Indoor Performance!
With great care, and face masks, Vox embarked on its first live, indoor performance in over a year at the Whatcom Museum Old City Hall, Rotunda Room. The one hour performance of “Recalling Our Voices” in collaboration with the Bellingham Community Chamber Orchestra, Andrea Rackl on piano, Stephanie Straight on percussion, and Beth Beyer on flute was a powerful and memorable event for all.
Summer '21: Rehearsals Amidst the Trees
There’s no lack of natural beauty in our corner of the world and each week through the summer of 2021 Vox Pacifica singers met in different, inspiring outdoor locations to practice new songs that were joyfully shared with friends, family, and community.
May 2021 - A Cautious Live Rehearsal
Rounding the corner into 2021, with all singers fully vaccinated against Covid-19 we bundled up for our first live semi-outdoor rehearsal in well over 14 months. Vox singers came together, grateful to finally see each other again and to begin the next phase of recovery and song.
Zooming Through 2020
During the height of the pandemic we offered a Zoom-based 12-week Music Enrichment program to help improve overall musicianship of singers with a regimen of theory, sight singing, and vocal technique. Classes were divided into small groups to ensure all singers received plenty of time and attention.
